So, the flooding in the north. Where I am, in the south east, it’s not been too bad. The occasional heavy downpour, a few big puddles, nothing to halt my daily routine. I like the fact that in the pictures I’ve seen on the BBC website, there are people looking happy and people pulling together. Of course I realize that people have lost their cars and homes, and I realize that’s no cause for joy, but I just like the way people are making the best of it. Gives me the warm and fuzzies.
